Littleton Thunder Boys Lacrosse

Littleton Thunder offers spring lacrosse teams for youth players K – 8th grade. Littleton Thunder and all AYL teams are grouped based upon grade level, K – 8th. High school students are not permitted to play in the AYL.

Teams are formed based on age, grade, and playing experience. Returning players and teams are formed based on coaches and previous experience. Coaches provide input for teams based on previous rosters and team formation. New players will create new teams or be added to an existing team roster based on team numbers.

Team Placements and Tryouts

Thunder Lacrosse will be holding team placements and tryouts for the upcoming 2027 spring season to compete in the AYL.  All players planning to participate in the upcoming season should register for this event.

Who: Players in 3rd - 8th grade

When: 11/12 and 11/17 

Time: 5:30-8:30 PM

Where: David Lorenz North Field - off of County Line Road

Please register for the grade you are currently in for the 2026-27 school year.

After the tryouts, coaches will communicate with you regarding your player’s team placement for the season.

If you are unable to attend the Team Placements but are interested in joining a team, please reach out to us via email.

Uniform & Thunder Fan Wear Store - coming soon

All players are required to have shorts and jerseys for the 2027 Spring AYL season.

Please confirm your jersey number with your coach prior to ordering.

If your jersey and shorts from previous seasons still fit, there is no need to order additional uniform pieces. Uniform pieces can be ordered a la carte.

FREE THUNDER LACROSSE T-SHIRT – All registered players can receive a FREE t-shirt, but you have to order it.

No additional purchase is necessary. Limit 1 per player.

Players - get your stick ready to go for the season. Open for all players.

Season Calendar of Events:

• Uniform / Fan Wear Ordering: Jan / Feb
• Pre-season Training Sessions: Jan / Feb - TBD
• Practice starts: week of March 1 - all teams will practice at Dekovend or Cornerstone Parks. Teams practice 2 / week, based on coach.
• King of the Rock - Preseason Games (3rd - 8th grade), team registration required.
• DU Lacrosse Game – THUNDER NIGHT – vs. TBD
• Games Start: week of March 13
• Regular Season Dates: March 13 - May 1
• Heritage High School Varsity Lacrosse Game - THUNDER NIGHT vs TBD - Players wearing Thunder gear get in free!
• Arapahoe High School Varsity Lacrosse Game – THUNDER NIGHT vs. TBD – Players wearing Thunder gear get in free!
• Team Pictures: April
• Playoffs: May 8-9 - Every team makes the playoffs
• AYL Championships: May 15-16 - Winning teams advance to the Championships
